Marker Disneyland: Harbor Square
This is a smaller section compared to others in the park, but it's still interesting to see. It is based on San Francisco at its height prior to the 1906 earthquake. Here, guests can see a city on the rise before its fall.
This area is split into two sections: Chinatown and the wharf. North of Big Thunder Mountain is where guests pass underneath a dragon gate and enter the Chinatown area. Here, they can eat at the Mandarin Kitchen, located on the right, and the Jade Teahouse on the left. On the left side is the Garden of the Twelve Friends, which represents the Chinese Zodiac as Disney characters. On the right side is Secrets of Chinatown, a trackless ride. Chinatown Market is a gift shop nearby.
Walking into the harbor, guests come across Ghiradeli Chocolates and Golden Gate Gear, which are connected by an overhead bridge. Mission Street Cantina is a Tex-Mex restaurant located on the other side of the road. On the side of the wharf is Fisherman's Place, a seafood restaurant, and Museum of the Weird, a gift shop. Near a cable car house is a manor resembling the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, where the Haunted Mansion is housed.

I created this area just so I can use the Winchester Mystery House for the Haunted Mansion. I know that it clashes with the Chinese cultural area (Chinese culture has a different view of the afterlife than ghosts), but I thought I could make it work by segregating the areas.

Love the idea of Winchester as the Haunted Mansion! I’d be interested to hear more about the trackless rude and what it’s like.
