Events at Marker Disney Studios

Image
Since I don't have any parkwide entertainment aside from the ones I listed, we're skipping that and going straight to the events. Avengers Summer: During the Summertime, the Avengers are more present in the park than ever, preforming in stage shows and even taking part in a projection show on the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Holidays: Tis the season to be at the studios. Aside from festive decorations in Buena Vista Street and Hollywood Gardens, themed entertainment and a projection show are here as well. (Do note that the projection show on the Hollywood Tower Hotel does not play during Fantasmic to make sure that guests see one or the other.)

In this part of the park is an area where Earth's Mightiest Heroes are looking for new recruits. Guests come down to this new campus to train as Avengers, and along the way, have many heroic adventures. Marker Disney Studios: Hollywood Gardens

In the center of the park is a place where Hollywood comes to life. This is a circle-shaped area with several buildings. It also serves as a hub to the four other areas of the park. When coming in from Buena Vista street, guests walk through the garden displays. These gardens feature hedges shaped like many Disney characters. Following the road to the center of the park, guests find the Sorcerer's Fountain, which is the icon of the park. The road goes around these gardens and to the entrances of the other lands, which, going clockwise, are Pandora, Studio Lot, Pixar Place, and Avengers Campus. In the southern part of the area is where guests can find more things. Nearby is a theater where guests can ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. Located to the left of that is the Classic Corner, a gift shop. On the other side is the towering Hollywood Tower Hotel where The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is housed. It exits into Tower Hotel Gifts. Between these two attractions is a ...

Marker Disney Studios: Buena Vista Street

Image
When guests enter the park, they enter a recreation of 1923 Los Angeles, how it was when Walt Disney first came to the city. With many fictional businesses referencing his life and early career, this tributes the man who started it all. This street is shaped like an inverted 'L,' making it an interesting shape. When guests first walk into the studios, guests see a small park in the front of the street. This is where a statue of Walt and Mickey is known as "Storytellers." It is inspired by the statue seen in DCA, Tokyo Disneysea, and Shanghai Disneyland. On the left, guests can find help at the Studio Building.   Enter the jungles of South America, where danger lurks around every corner. Here, guests will find a tropical land of mystery as well as many interesting sights, such as the towering volcano, El Fuego. On the western side of the area is a thick, jungle area. Marker Disneysea: Marine Life Institute

Image
Located north of El Fuego is a small, semi-educational area based on Finding Nemo. Here, guests can learn more about the big, blue world and see Nemo and his friends along the way. Although this place does not contain real fish, it still gives its dose of learning about the seas. Walking in from Mermaid Lagoon, guests come across several buildings on the coastline. This is the newest installment of the Marine Life Institute, the marine life research organization seen in Finding Dory. In a cove, guests see the MINE seagulls. They can eat at the Campus Dining Hall and shop at Wonders of the Sea. In the main building is where guests will find the area's big attraction, Nemo and Friends Searider, a randomized motion simulator where guests are supposed to feel like they've shrunken to the size of a fish and are journeying through the seas with Nemo. This is based on an attraction found in Tokyo Disneysea. Also in the building is Turtle Talk with Crush and the Marine Life Exhibits,...

Marker Disneysea: Arabian Coast

Image
This Middle Eastern area is another family area, even though its rides are more family-centered than the ones in Mermaid Lagoon. This area has a theme based off the Arabian Nights stories, most especially Aladdin. When crossing over from Mermaid Lagoon, guests enter a Middle Eastern port. A dhow (Arabian boat) is seen nearby on the left. Also on the is Aladdin's Flying Carpets, a spinner ride where guests may get squirted by camels. Closeby is the Sultan's Palace restaurant, where guests can eat an authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, and the Caravan Carousel, a two-story carousel where guests ride camels. Guests can also shop at the nearby buildings, Open Sesame and 3 Wishes Bazaar. A snack stand known as the Eats of Agrabah is also nearby, as well as the station for the Marker Disneysea Steamer Line, which goes to Forgotten Rivers. Marker Disneysea: Mermaid Lagoon

Image
Near the base of El Fuego is a recreation of Atlantica, the underwater realm from The Little Mermaid. Here, guests can go under the sea and discover several delights for the family. While this area is mainly aimed at younger children, it has a few things for others too. On the outsides of Atlantica, guests walk around a Mediterranean-inspired beach setting. Two bridges cross over to Arabian Coast while one bridge goes up to Magical Fjord. Out here is where guests find Ariel's Grotto, a dining experience with the princesses, and Kiss the Girl Fashions, a gift shop. Guests can also meet Ariel in the Mermaid Cavern.  Most of the area, however, is inside Atlantica. It is an indoor space with special effects to make guests feel like they are underwater. This features the kiddie rides Blowfish Balloon Race, Jumping Jellyfish, The Whirlpool (which relates to the teacups), Flying Fish (which relates to Dumbo), and Sebastian's Scooters. Also in the area is Ariel's Playground and K...

Marker Disneysea: Discovery Bay

Image
This is a place where the ideas for the future come from the past. Taken from the ideas of authors like Jules Verne and H. G. Wells, this is a land that celebrates what could've been the future. When coming into the area, guests see gray cliffs surrounding them. Victorian-style futuristic buildings are around as well. On their left, guests see Aquatopia, a boat ride where they can move through a lagoon, and some people may get wet. This factor depends on whether or not they pick the squirting side (left) or non-squirting side (right.) Ahead is a model of the Nautilus, Captain Nemo's ship. Going around the curve that gives the ship room in the bay, guests pass by the Cafe Hyperion. On the other side is the building that houses 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Also nearby is an entrance into From the Earth to the Moon, which is like Disneyland Paris's Space Mountain. Both rides exit into Nautilus Gifts. Going behind the domed building for From the Earth to the Moon, guests fin...
